Meet our nursing team

Mrs Anna Sayce (f)

Anna is a nurse practitioner who has completed Masters level education and training. Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled and experienced, and can deal with most health conditions and illnesses. They can refer patients to receive treatment from other health services. They are always supported by the GP’s at the surgery.

Ms Alison Greeen

Alison is an advanced nurse practitioner who has completed Masters level education and training. Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled and experienced, and can deal with most health conditions and illnesses. They can refer patients to receive treatment from other health services. They are always supported by the GP’s at the surgery.

Mrs Jenny Jones (f)

Jenny Jones is an advanced nurse practitioner who has completed Masters level education and training. Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled and experienced, and can deal with most health conditions and illnesses. They can refer patients to receive treatment from other health services. Mrs Claire Mills (f)

Claire Mills is an advanced nurse practitioner who has completed Masters level education and training. Nurse Practitioners are highly skilled and experienced, and can deal with most health conditions and illnesses. They can refer patients to receive treatment from other health services. They are always supported by the GP’s at the surgery.

The practice nurses undertake a full range of nursing tasks including diabetic and vascular clinic, asthma clinic, health screening and education, injections and dressings, travel clinics and vaccinations.

Healthcare Assistants are specifically trained in the taking of blood and undertake a variety of tasks including basic dressings, blood pressure checks, new patient checks, ECG’s and smoking cessation advice.

Practice Management

The managerial side of the practice helps the business run and provides the structure in which clinical services are provided. Practice Manager – Sue Matthews, Deputy Practice Manager– Laura Witherall. The medical secretaries provide full secretarial support to all members of the team.

Receptionists

The reception team will usually be the first point of entry to the clinical services offered at the practice. They have a difficult job in helping to run an efficient service. They are carefully selected and continually supported in their role.


Our healthcare team

Community Midwives

A full range of antenatal and postnatal care is provided. Once your pregnancy is confirmed an appointment will be made for you to see the midwife who will give you a full information pack.

Community Nurses

The team provides home nursing care for those patients who are too ill to attend the surgery.

Health Visitors

Services include “well baby” clinics, development assessments and support.

Attached Staff – Physiotherapy Team

The team
deals with a wide range of physical disorders requiring various forms of physiotherapy. They will offer advice and exercises, they may also offer acupuncture.
